Job Title: QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER (REMOTE)

Job Summary :


Position Description

This is a full-time fully remote working opportunity where you will be working as part of a Scrum team which requires working closely with other quality assurance engineers, software engineers, stakeholders, contributors on the project. Working with respect to the US timezone is a requirement for the position. Attending meetings, being actively involved in the decision-making process and collaborating with all of these stakeholders are essential parts of this position.


Responsibilities

  • Clear understanding of test case creation and structuring
  • Work closely with other Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Developers to discuss the proper testing process
  • Development of automated scripts as per ticket request
  • Analysis of test results
  • Adaptation of scripts to the latest features
  • Identifying quality issues
  • Execution of available regression scripts
  • Brainstorming of ideas to improve automated test procedures
  • Submission of code via GitHub
  • Adapt to new testing technologies and requirements


Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency
  • Experience in Java, Python, Bash/Shell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Git
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium and Cucumber frameworks
  • Experience with testing web/mobile applications and services
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Comfortable working with JIRA, Postman, GitHub and/or similar tools
  • Understanding of Agile development principles
