By combining our solution with our exceptional support and customer success programs, we ensure our clients have an excellent fleet expense management experience while achieving a strong return on investment (ROI).About the roleThe ideal candidate for the position of Business Development Representative (BDR) at RoadFlex is a high-performing, team-oriented individual who is eager to advance their sales career. In this role, you will support our sales teams by driving demand for our solution. Your primary responsibilities will include outreach, cold calling potential customers and generating qualified opportunities for our Business Development Representative (BDR) and helping with demos.You will also be responsible for qualifying inbound leads and scheduling introductory meetings and demos with prospective customers. BDRs play a crucial role in our company's growth, providing valuable experience in interacting with clients from various industries and locations. This position offers a challenging, dynamic, and rewarding work environment with ample opportunities for career growth.What you’ll doFocus heavily on proactive prospecting (cold calling, industry associations, email campaigns, marketing campaigns, referrals, LinkedIn, etc.) into the assigned territory/region to generate new opportunities for RoadFlex’s Sales Account Executives (AEs)Collaborate closely with your assigned AE to create a targeted list of prospective accounts while working with cross-functional teams to prospect new accounts strategicallyResearch accounts, identify key players, and generate the interest of potential customers, positioning RoadFlex’s unique value propositionFollow up, educate, and qualify inbound leads to create sales-ready meetings and opportunities for our Sales Account ExecutivesLeverage outbound cold-calling and outreach to target accounts across different industriesUnderstand customer needs & effectively communicate how RoadFlex’s unique solution will help drive success for their organizationProvide accurate, thorough discovery call handoffs to the appropriate AE and become a trusted and credible source of leads for the sales teamWork closely with the Marketing team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation through messaging and process improvementsUse and maintain RoadFlex’s Sales CRM & other tools to provide metrics on leads, subsequent opportunities, and pipeline developmentRegularly perform against individual monthly and/or quarterly quota and KPI targets, pipeline development, conversion rates, and qualified opportunities.Professional QualificationsMinimum of 1-3 years of sales development, business development, or prospecting enterprise organizations, c-suite or executive teamsExperience in prospecting and setting meetings in the fleet or telematics industry is a plusExperience with giving demos to prospective clienteleExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong skills in self-sourcing opportunities (outreach) and the ability to appropriately qualify inbound leadsWorks well with cross-functional teams and performs in a fast-paced, fun, sales-oriented environmentEagerness to achieve goals and quotasExperience working with enterprise sales and CRM tools; LinkedIn, Apollo, and other prospecting tools experience is a plusMust be self-directed, a quick learner, energetic, and an enthusiastic team player with a desire to pursue a career in SalesChallenger-sales methodology skills are a plusThis is a remote positionCompensationWe offer a competitive and attractive compensation package that includes base salary + variable compensation based on experience and performance, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
