Location: Remote


Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with expertise in R Programming Language, Python, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). This role involves a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and actionable manner. The Data Analyst will be responsible for developing scripts to automate data analysis, creating visualizations, and building RShiny applications to meet user requirements. Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain scripts using R, Python, VBA, and other relevant technologies to perform complex data analysis and automate processes.

- Design and implement RShiny applications, ensuring both the user interface and server components meet the highest standards of functionality and design.

- Generate data visualizations and presentations to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with various teams to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support.

- Guarantee the accuracy and logical integrity of all data analysis and results produced.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and methodologies to continuously improve the quality of insights provided.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience in R Shiny application development including both front-end and back-end components.

- Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and VBA.

- Familiarity with database manipulation and API development.

- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.

- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.


Tools:

- Proficiency with data analysis software (e.g., RStudio, Jupyter Notebook).

- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., ggplot2, Tableau, or similar).

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel with VBA.


Desired Skills:

- Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Experience in working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
