A well-established, NASDAQ-listed company that is bringing a crypto-revolution by making it easier for its end-users to buy and sell cryptocurrency, is looking for a Backend Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for expounding the company vision, as well as creating, maintaining, and optimizing the customer-facing aspects of the company’s newest product. The company is a well-established player in the crypto world whose post-IPO funding is valued at over $497 Million. This is a great opportunity for developers who are looking to work within a globally recognized company and can provide 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand user requirements and build transformative features to enhance user experience
- Build highly-scalable and interactive solutions to engage the end-user
- Collaborate with back-end developers to improve platform usability
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement them to improve platform performance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Backend Developer
- 5+ years of experience with either Go or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with MongoDB or DynamoDB
- Experience with AWS or GCP
- Prior experience working with fintech, security, payments, etc. is preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
