Role Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and customizing WordPress websites using a variety of page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi, and Beaver Builder. You will also perform custom development tasks, including creating plugins and implementing WordPress hooks, to deliver tailored solutions for our clients.


A key part of your responsibilities will be manipulating designs in Figma and converting them into fully functional, pixel-perfect WordPress layouts. You will ensure that all work aligns with project requirements, maintaining both design fidelity and technical excellence.

Qualifications


Core WordPress Skills:

  • Basic knowledge in WordPress, including theme and plugin management, user roles, and settings.
  • Advanced proficiency with page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi, and Beaver Builder.
  • Solid understanding of theme customization.
  • Proven experience in custom plugin development and working with WordPress hooks (actions and filters).
  • Knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and its integration into WordPress templates. Having worked with JetEngine/Crocoblock is a plus.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce setup and customization, including product pages, checkout processes, and hooks.


Figma Expertise:

  • Proven experience in manipulating and editing Figma layouts to align with project needs.
  • Proficiency in converting Figma designs into responsive and pixel-perfect WordPress layouts.
  • Strong attention to design fidelity, ensuring alignment with UX/UI standards.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery).
  • Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress database structure and ability to write MySQL queries.
  • Experience with REST APIs, including the ability to create and consume API endpoints.
  • Proficiency in Git and version control platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring all deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Creative mindset with a focus on user experience and design consistency.
  • The ideal candidate thrives without micromanagement, can prioritize tasks effectively, and proactively communicates progress or roadblocks.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing WordPress projects, especially those involving Figma-to-WordPress conversions.
