We are looking for a full-time, remote Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of development experience solving complex technical problems using a combination of front-end, back-end, and full-stack technologies, including Angular, to join our U.S. client. The ideal candidate should have experience with server-side logic development, central database definition and maintenance, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. The role will involve transforming UI / UX designs into functional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including Angular). The primary application stack is LAMP, which includes the latest version of PHP, MySQL, and Linux, along with Angular for front-end development. You will also be responsible for integrating Angular components built by co-workers into the application.Our client provides integrated software and marketing solutions for the hospitality industry, specializing in short-term rental management. Their platform provides vacation rental companies with an enterprise-class Property Management System integrating booking, guest communications, and financial reporting systems - all built with partner organization integrations in mind.ResponsibilitiesBuild efficient, testable, and reusable PHP or JavaScript modulesIdentify solutions to complex problemsSolve performance issues and architectural challengesIntegrate data storage solutions like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDBEnsure that the code that you produce passes the SonarCloud quality rules for each pull requestIntegrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers, including Angular componentsTranslate UI / UX designs and convert them into working HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including AngularAnalyze, configure, and tune the front-end web application, including Angular performance optimizationBe a subject matter expert on web technologies, including AngularEnforce software development standards and mentor junior engineers in Angular development best practicesRequired ExperienceExcellent English communication skills5+ years of experience in web application development using AngularStrong knowledge of PHP web frameworks and libraries (e.g., Zend Framework, Laminas, Laravel, Symphony, and Doctrine)Understanding of MVC design patterns, front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular), accessibility and security compliance, scalable application design principles (including Angular architecture and scalability considerations), and user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environmentsFamiliarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and their declarative query languagesProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and GitHubTrustworthy, team-oriented, and transparentDesired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or some technical engineeringFamiliarity with code review and analysis tools, such as SonarCloudExperience with AWSKnowledge of AI toolsets and toolkitsAdditional InformationKnowing your ideas are heard and matter, think bigYou get to own your job and be recognized for your contributionsWork with innovative and creative peopleMaking mistakes is human.
