Full Stack Engineer


Position Summary:


Our partner, a growing social media platform looking to reshape the landscape of interactive gaming is looking to add a full-stack engineer to their development team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be key in designing, developing, and maintaining the company’s platform. You will work closely with vendors and internal team members to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet users' needs. If you're passionate about leveraging technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you


Experience and Education:


  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field/experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in full-stack development (React native and Node)
  • Previous experience working within an AWS cloud platform environment
  • Experience working within a sports or gaming environment (as a plus)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, high-performance platforms.
  • Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React Native.
  • Architect and implement robust backend systems using Node.js.
  • Execute unit tests for both front-end and back-end components of software applications.
  • Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough testing to ensure software reliability and maintainability.
  • Integrate REST APIs to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
  • Design, develop, and optimize MongoDB database schemas and queries for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, ensuring scalability and performance of applications.
  • Document technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and development processes as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and proactively suggest improvements to enhance product quality and development processes.
