Duties and Responsibilities:


  • WordPress Website Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites using templates and custom solutions.
  • Theme Customization:
  • Customize and modify existing WordPress themes or create custom themes from scratch, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with project requirements.
  • Content Management:
  • Manage and optimize website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, ensuring that content is current and relevant.
  • Website Optimization:
  • Optimizing loading speeds, implementing SEO best practices, and ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices can enhance website performance.
  • Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve website technical issues, bugs, and errors promptly and effectively.
  • Multi-Platform Work:
  • While the primary focus will be on WordPress development, you will also have the opportunity to work on other platforms like Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, and more, depending on project needs.


Qualifications:


  • WordPress Proficiency: Extensive experience with WordPress, including a deep understanding of its core functions, theme development, and template systems.
  • Responsive Web Design: Proven ability to create responsive websites that provide an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them effectively within WordPress.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Additional Tools: Familiarity with WordPress Elementor, Figma, Webflow, and/or Squarespace is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for graphic design elements such as typography, color schemes, and layout consistency.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in developing responsive websites is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Web Analytics & SEO Tools: Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO techniques is highly valued.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is a plus. 



  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Shopify is a plus
