React Developer

QAT Global, a 25+ years IT consulting firm based in the US, is seeking a highly-skilled Sr. React Developer with the ability to communicate well in English. This position will work directly with the customer located in the US and with development teams in our US, Costa Rica, and Brazil locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy web applications using React.
• Translate design mockups and user stories into functional, responsive web applications.
• Implement clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability by addressing database performance, security, and other relevant considerations.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and techniques.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers when necessary.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience in web application development with React.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is highly desired, but not mandatory.
• Previous experience with React Native and/or production-grade app development is a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering web applications to production environments.
• Strong understanding of database performance optimization, security best practices, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently without constant supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges.

Preferred Experience

• BS/MS in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
