Luxoft is seeking highly motivated, energetic, and passionate Appian developers with experience in on-premise installations to join our expanding Appian Digital Automation Practice in India. To expand the team capacity we are looking for a seasoned hands-on Appian developer who can contribute towards ongoing development and Appian Administration Support.


Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and challenges, gathering requirements.

- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, implement, maintain and enhance Appian based custom Business Process Management (BPM) workflows across the enterprise.

- Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies including LDAP, Active Directory and other internal systems in the enterprise.

- Design and develop database objects to support BPM applications.

- Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems.

- Participate in workflow analysis and modelling utilizing SQL Server and SQL Management Studio.

- Translate BPM requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions ensuring the highest quality and performance.

- Deliver projects in either Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies, as project dictates.

- Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.

- Participate in the day-to-day activities of the Appian BPM development teams.

- The work is primarily in the development area; however, you will also be required to perform Appian Installation, environment management, new environment creation, Appian upgrades, deployments, manage database performance and related activities.

- Collaborate with application support teams throughout the development, deployment, and support phases.


Mandatory Skills Description:

- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support of Appian BPM workflow applications.

- Strong understanding of RDBMS and experience in design and development of relational DB objects to support Appian applications.

- Experience in tuning the system for performance improvements and performance related high volume of database.

- Experience with Appian product administration activities like new environment creation, environment management, Appian upgrades and related activities.

- Hands-on development experience in building any/all Appian components including CDTs, SAIL programming, process modeler and WebAPIs.

- Experience defining and enforcing enterprise database standards and processes.

- Experience of XML and web services (SOAP/REST).

- Knowledge on in-memory KDBs & engine sizing

- Ability to work using CICD Technologies such as XLR, SonarQube, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub.

- Must have recent working experience on App Servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, etc. & Web Servers like Apache, etc.

- Appian Certified Senior Developer

- Highly analytical with good problem solving skills and creativity;

- Able to work independent in a fast-paced environment

- Positive individual with strong communication skills;

- Able to interface well with users and other development teams.


Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

- Experience in Banking/Financial industry is preferred

- Experience on Ansible, BitBucket, JBoss, GitHub

- Experience on Appian upgrades

- Experience in C#.net programming is a plus.
