Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for nuclear operations applications and systemsCreate realistic test scenarios that simulate operational conditions, peak loads, and stress situations for nuclear plant systemsIdentify performance bottlenecks, system limitations, and optimization opportunities through comprehensive testing and analysisDevelop and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworksMonitor system performance metrics including response times, throughput, resource utilization, and reliability under various conditionsCollaborate with developers, system architects, and operations teams to establish performance requirements and acceptance criteriaAnalyze test results and provide detailed reports with recommendations for performance improvementsConduct baseline and benchmark testing to establish performance standards for nuclear applicationsEnsure performance testing practices comply with nuclear quality assurance and regulatory requirementsParticipate in capacity planning efforts to ensure systems can support current and future operational demandsSupport production monitoring and troubleshooting of performance issues in operational environmentsMaintain documentation of test plans, test cases, performance metrics, and testing proceduresRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in performance testing, load testing, or quality assuranceProficiency with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar)Strong understanding of application architectures, databases, and system performance principlesExperience analyzing performance metrics and identifying root causes of performance issuesKnowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for test automationAbility to obtain and maintain security clearance for nuclear facility accessStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDetail-oriented with ability to work systematically in a regulated environmentWhat do we offer?
