Mathematical optimization analyst

As a Mathematical Optimization Analyst at Cassotis, you will be part of a team developing highly-valuable solutions using mathematical optimization and operational research. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and customizing new models:
• Mathematical modeling
• Developing graphical interfaces
• Data analysis and regression development
• Providing support to clients
• Assisting users in utilizing the models
• Resolving bugs and integrating with the development team
• Evolving existing models with new functionalities
• Supporting commercial activities by contributing to Proof of Concepts and demonstrations.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Knowledge of Operations Research (linear and non-linear programming, binary and integer programming, as well as heuristics and meta-heuristics)
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python) and algebraic languages (AMPL)
• Experience with various solvers (e.g., CONOPT, CPLEX, LocalSolver, Gurobi)
• Basic statistical knowledge: descriptive and predictive data analysis (Excel or Python)
• Fluency in English.
• Analytical, autonomous, proactive, and curious profile.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience in industrial processes will be considered a plus.
