What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Associate Portfolio Management . Play a pivotal role in fostering positive relationships with our investors, shareholders, and financial community regarding waivers and covenants in financial agreements with a credit perspective.You will be responsible for effectively communicating our company's financial performance, strategies, and objectives to the investment community while also gathering feedback and insights to support strategic decision-making


What challenges will you face?

  • Familiarizing themselves with the terms and conditions of financial agreements, including loan agreements, bond indentures, and other debt instruments.
  • Keeping track of the company's financial performance to ensure compliance with the covenants specified in the agreements.
  • serving as the point of contact for investors regarding waiver requests or covenant breaches. This involves timely and transparent communication to address concerns and negotiate terms.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations teams to assess the situation, develop a strategy, and prepare the necessary documentation for discussions with investors.
  • With support from our legal department, draft and review waiver requests, covenant compliance reports, and other related documentation to support the negotiation process.
  • Participating in negotiations with investors to reach mutually agreeable terms for waivers or amendments to covenant requirements.
  • Providing regular updates to management and investors on the status of waiver requests, covenant compliance, and any related developments
  • Identifying potential risks related to covenant breaches and advising on strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate the company's financial performance, growth prospects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and other communication materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging.
  • Organize and participate in investor meetings, conferences, providing relevant information and addressing inquiries to enhance investor understanding and confidence in the company.
  • Monitor analyst reports, market trends, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for improving investor perception and maximizing shareholder value.


What specific knowledge do you need?

  • At least 3 years of project finance experience in Banking/Infrastructure/Energy companies.
  • Negotiation abilities with commercial and subsidized banks.
  • Knowledge of accounting and tax mechanics regarding financing.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, economics, or related field.
  • English and Spanish are essential. Portuguese is a differential (This changes if it is for position is in Brazil or Chile/Mexico
