This position reports into EBS – A2R Finance and is based at São José dos Campos Site (Brazil – Latam)

What will you do

The role requires someone with a solid background in technical and analytical skills in balance sheet.

This role is part of the A2R Americas Finance team responsible for Pl Commercial Accounting Analyst for Brazil:

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating ideas, foster and implement continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on optimizing processes, automation, reducing wasted time and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
  • Own monthly Commercial close preparation & completion
  • Provide financial support and accounting analysis for Gross Sales, Gross to Net Reserves and BME.
  • Provide comments on balance sheet and P&L variances for regional and global groups.
  • Ensure timely preparation of sales information for reporting.
  • Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
  • Partner closely with Finance Partners (BUF, PF&A, Supply Chain, Sales, Deliver).
  • Prepare and monitoring of the commercial closing checklist.
  • Participate in other special projects as needed.
  • Enthusiastically learn about the principles and specific tasks assigned to your specialist area within the process, suggesting and making improvements after aligning with a wider team.
  • Ensure compliance with all government and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings.
  • Actively embrace on methods to standardize tasks across all process areas for better presentation and accuracy in documentations.
  • Collaborate with leadership members, process/metric owners and dashboard end users to define performance indicators, operation metrics and reporting needs for our end to end business processes.
Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required in area related to Finance, Accounting or Information Technology.
  • Intermediate English is preferred (Spanish is a plus).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance and related
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of general accounting processes.
  • Experience with systems mainly SAP, Microsoft office (specially Excel), Power BI and automation tools.
  • The ability to identify, recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Enjoy working well in a dynamic, environment and have the ability and energy to recommend and implement operational improvements.
  • Teamwork, resilience, pro-active / positive behavior and hands-on are relevant for the position.
