Role Overview We’re looking for a Mobile Developer with strong experience in React Native (or similar frameworks) and a passion for video-centric apps . You’ll own the development of our iOS and Android applications from fast video feeds to premium playback and community features.

What You’ll Work On Build and scale the Taboo.TV mobile app using React Native (Expo or bare).
Integrate and optimize video playback , offline caching, and adaptive bitrate streaming (HLS/DASH).
Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs for content delivery, authentication, and payment integration.
Work on smooth navigation , deep linking, and user session management.
Implement community-driven features (comments, likes, live chat, notifications).
Ensure top-tier performance across devices — especially low-bandwidth or older Android phones.
Work closely with the design team to bring cinematic, immersive UI/UX to life.

What We’re Using (You don’t need to know it all, but bonus points if you do.)
Frontend: React Native (Expo), TypeScript
Backend: Laravel 11, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets (Laravel Reverb)
Video: HLS/DASH playback, FFmpeg, Rumble API, AWS S3
Auth & Payments: Whop, Apple/Google in-app subscriptions, Firebase
CI/CD: Fastlane, EAS, or custom pipelines
Realtime: WebSockets / Socket.io equivalents
