Job Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation and management of Brazil FSSC, ensuring compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and global financial standards.
Coordinate closely with FSSC-serviced business units (BUs) in Brazil to align service priorities, resolve operational issues, and guarantee the efficiency and quality of FSSC services .
Establish effective communication and collaboration mechanisms with each FSSC module at Midea Group Headquarters (HQ), ensuring seamless integration of global financial processes and local operational needs.
Lead the building, development, and performance management of the Brazil FSSC team, including talent recruitment, training, goal setting, and performance evaluation, to enhance team capability and engagement.
Serve as the key coordinator for internal and external audits (e.g., statutory audits, internal financial audits), organize audit preparations, provide required materials, and follow up on audit findings to complete audit projects smoothly.
Implement key financial initiatives and projects as assigned by HQ (e.g., system optimization, process reengineering), ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with the group’s financial strategy.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields , with solid professional knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Brazilian local accounting standards) and financial operations.
Fluent English (both written and spoken) as the working language; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory (for communication with HQ); knowledge of Portuguese is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of Brazilian business culture, local tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements ; prior experience in the Brazilian market is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills , with a proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Excellent relationship-building abilities to collaborate with internal stakeholders (HQ, local BUs) and external parties (auditors, regulators).
Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of strategic planning, organizational coordination, and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Prior team leadership experience (preferably in financial shared services, accounting, or finance departments) is highly preferred.
