Job Title: Director of Business Development Americas About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Business Development Director to lead our growth efforts across the Americas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for nurturing existing relationships with global media publishers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a regular cadence of prospecting activities to identify new opportunities that could potentially lead to a representation in the Americas. Establish a routine of researching trending media and technology players to stay connected with the technology market across the region. Deliver commercial presentations of US Media, negotiate terms and conditions, and manage the sales process with prospects and existing client partners. Improve all commercial materials, including decks, P&L calculation spreadsheets, and press release strategies. Map all events that could support our activation strategy and help us connect with publishers and ideal clients. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation and report-writing abilities. Ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate effectively. Strong research, strategy, and business intelligence skills. Commercial awareness and project management capabilities. Ability to think creatively and strategically. Superior time management, organizational, and collaboration skills. Self-motivated and driven by targets. Curiosity and proactiveness. Resilience in managing long-term sales cycles. Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in advertising sales or business development, with at least 5 years of experience in seeking new markets and customers in the media advertising industry. Additionally, we are looking for individuals with a demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through lead generation, partnership proposal, and partnership agreements. Experience with prospecting customers and selling/negotiating media and/or advertising technology products is essential, particularly in digital media. Strong presentation design and storytelling skills, as well as the ability to create and maintain a network of relationships, are also highly valued.
