Logistics Coordinator

To reinforce our Logistics Team based in Jundiaí (BR) we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

In UFI Filters, Logistics Coordinator is responsible for attending the logistics demand dealing with Automakers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• planning, defining the daily producing volume according to the delivery program, equipment and labor available, in order to guarantee the customer service;

• planning, defining volume and delivery dates of raw material by local suppliers and imported pieces, to attend the production needs, keeping the levels of stock value inside the budget, to guarantee the producing and customer service;

• definition: to define layout and internal flow of the manufacture building, to guarantee the good progress of the activities, in safety, quality, process, ergonomics and lead time requirements, to guarantee the good functioning of the plant;

• definition: to define, negotiate and acquire packages to internal processes, with suppliers and customers, in order to guarantee the parts and employees integrity, as well as the cost optimization in handling and transportation;

• change control: to manage product changes, controlling implementation dates and all the necessary actions linked to Logistics area, to guarantee the correct level of product engineering produced;

• manage the supply agreements for Shipping Companies and Equipment Rental service: negotiation, definition and management of contracts, managing the intended level of service and prices charged; to guarantee the plant needs inside the budget;

• manage the supply agreements of service companies in Import and Export trade: negotiation, definition and management of contracts, managing the intended level of service and prices charged, to guarantee the plant needs inside the budget;

• to deal and solve extra-routine activities;

• with confidential information, such as company’s revenues, budget, sales forecast, new projects and quotations;

• with external contacts, such as managers and analysts, to attend the customers’ demand for delivery, quotations, freight negotiation and others.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Experience of 5 years in Automotive industry

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Graduation in Logistics, Administration, Engineering or similar areas

Intermediate “Office Package” user

Fluency in English (mandatory)
