Consultant OT Architect (Edge, IIoT)

Responsabilidades e atribuicoes:

• Technical architect & engineer that designs and implements edge and IIoT solutions in compliance with client guardrails and industry best practice;
• Ensures quality technical delivery, reduces technical debt and drives modernization.
• Continuously improves and evolves technical guidance.
• Coaches engineers to build with engineering discipline through mentoring and design or code reviews, participates in architecture runway, and advocates for automation and automated provisioning practices; testing, modularity, scalability, observability and integration.
• Effectively communicates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Uses and develops patterns for implementation, owns technical decisions, and aligns with business strategies and portfolio investments.

Requisitos e qualificações

• Experience with virtualization, containerization, Kubernetes, MQTT, Azure ARC, Azure IoT services; Experience with patterns for ingesting high frequency telemetry, distributing and updating firmware, OS, and applications in a secure environment;
• Experience in industrial operations and a general familiarity of operator duties, requirements for OT network connectivity, business constraints driving network considerations.
• Understanding of field devices and requirements, Mobile Device Management solutions, Mobile Profiles, and device lifecycling;
• General understanding of modern application architecture, infrastructure as code, application lifecycle activities and change management;
• Experience exploring nascent technologies and carrying them through development and delivery lifecycle.
