React Software EngineerLocation: Remote Brazil Salary: NegotiableOverviewWe are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in Java distributed systems, stream-based processing, and Node.js backend development. In this role, you will design, build, and operate high-throughput backend services, integrate with modern cloud platforms, and contribute to business-critical applications. You will also work with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain distributed backend services using Java and Node.jsBuild and optimize message-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines using Apache KafkaDevelop scalable, resilient APIs and backend servicesWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested code aligned with industry best practicesDeploy, monitor, and support applications running on KubernetesWork closely with architects and product teams to design system components and integrationsParticipate in code reviews, system design conversations, and operational readiness effortsTroubleshoot production issues across services and infrastructurePrototype new technologies to improve performance, reduce cost, and accelerate engineering velocityQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong expertise in Java for backend and distributed systemsHands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, partitions, topics, stream processing)Proficiency in Node.js backend developmentExperience deploying and managing services on KubernetesFamiliarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CDPractical experience with AWS and/or GCPSolid understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, and microservicesExperience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL (schema design, performance tuning, migrations)Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a distributed teamNice to HaveExperience in VOD / Streaming platformsBasic frontend experience with React (component integration, context management)Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm)Experience with observability & monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic)
