IT Infrastructure Professional

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced IT professional to fill the role of End User Support and IT Infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure. Your Key Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective planning, implementation, and maintenance of server infrastructure to meet business requirements Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server infrastructure for performance and scalability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations, including user support, system maintenance, and software deployments Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and infrastructure diagrams Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the design and operation of infrastructure systems Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability Participate in disaster recovery planning, including backup strategies, data replication, and failover procedures Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to infrastructure engineering and networking Continuous development of the IT process automation and system landscape First contact person for all IT Administration related topics (user support) in our office Technical responsibility for planning and the implementation of IT infrastructure project tasks, considering the corporate IT strategy Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have: Education: A degree in Computer Science or equivalent training as an IT Specialist Skills and Experience: Several years of experience with End User Support, IT infrastructure administration, server infrastructure, IT operations, and networking Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools Experience in SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence tools, operational, migrations, backups Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls) Familiarity with IT operations management tools and practices, such as monitoring, incident management, and change management Know-how in administration of Windows, Apple, and Linux systems Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in infrastructure design and operations Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable Analyse and resolve equipment problems: laptops, servers, printers, networks Very good English communication skills Knowledge on CrowdStrike, Manage Engine, Asset Explorer, Intune, Netskope or similar Personal Qualities: Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Structured and having an independent and reliable working style Open-minded with strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Having excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Be proactive and have good communication Good relationship with colleagues and clients Familiar with GDPR and ISO 27001 rules and guidelines
