Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT) is a leading manufacturer in the Off-Highway tire market.
Since its founding in 1987, BKT has successfully focused on specialist segments such as agricultural, construction and industrial vehicles as well as earthmoving, port and mining, ATV, and gardening applications.
As a result, BKT has developed into a global leader in the Off-Highway tire industry with a sales volume of 1.2 billion US dollars.
Presently, we have four subsidiaries in Europe and North America assisting our head office in sales and marketing activities: BKT Europe S.r.l. in Seregno, Italy, BKT Tires USA Inc. in Akron, Ohio, and BKT Tires Canada Inc. in Toronto.
We sell our products in 160 countries worldwide through a network of national distributors.
Our five state-of-the-art production sites in Aurangabad, Bhiwadi, Chopanki, Dombivali and Bhuj employ more than 10,000 people.
About the open position
· This strategic recruitment highlights BKT’s ongoing commitment to growth, expansion and strong ambitions.
· The person chosen will play a key role in supporting BKT's strategic goals by strengthening and consolidating our brand visibility among major global players in the OEM channel.
· English is mandatory.
Responsibilities
· Lead the development of OEM go-to-market strategy by partnering closely with OEM Product, Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams to drive OEM ambitions,
· Achieve OEM goals by building pipeline, reviewing pipeline, and forecasting as well as providing additional required support in assisting,
· Participate in ad hoc projects that are focused on the strategic growth of the business by identifying key insights from data, competitive environment, industry trends, and operating metrics,
· Execute OEM Channel Sales enablement including trainings, executive briefings, and joint customer engagement,
· Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing sharing best practices, and be the voice from OEM field and channel sales teams as well as customers to enhance ecosystem (e.g. product roadmaps, marketing strategies, sales and channel incentives).
Skills & Competencies
· Hands-on channel sales experience across disciplines with a proven track record in reaching and exceeding quotas,
· Experience working in a matrixed organization with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders, developing and executing strategies to deliver business results,
· Ability to quickly learn, identify problems, and bring forth solutions working with a collaborative team mindset,
· Uncompromising attention to detail, high standards on achieving results with proven success working in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach to the role,
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
