Finance Assistant

SMT is a professional services and intelligence firm specializing in technologies that transform the way organizations interact with their customers, employees, communities, and other stakeholders. In partnership with global leaders, SMT implements the most advanced and robust Experience Management solutions. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for executing the department's operational routines, with a focus on purchasing processes and administrative activities. This role will work directly on controlling and organizing financial demands, ensuring deadlines are met, and information is accurate. The position reports directly to the Support Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage the entire purchasing process, from request to receipt and expense recording;
Conduct price quotations and manage supplier control, ensuring compliance with internal procedures;
Handle payment control, financial entries, and reconciliations;
Execute administrative and operational routines related to the financial area;
Prepare and update performance reports and financial indicators;
Maintain organization and proper filing of financial documents.
Requirements:
English fluency is mandatory;
candidates whodo not meet this requirement will be automatically disqualified.
Bachelor's degree preferred (fields related to Administration, Finance, or Accounting);
Previous experience with financial routines, especially billing and operational processes;
Organized, detail-oriented profile with strong ownership;
Reside in Belo Horizonte.
