Job description An Instrument Technician is responsible for ensuring allotted instrumentation work is carried out safely and efficiently and that his supervisor is made aware of all activities according to procedure, especially where safety is an issue.Identify potential sources of hazard prior to dismantlingUse correct procedures and correct method of dismantlingCarry out the correct isolation and disconnection procedureIdentify, check and prepare componentsApply appropriate tests and test equipment to ensure reassembly is correct and effectiveAdjust instruments to meet the operating specificationMake adjustments with minimum disruption to any ongoing activities and minimum waste of resourcesMonitor and record what has been carried out in work history or logJob requirements Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbonGood experience of Permit to Work, Instrument Isolation Standards and Risk AssessmentFPSO Experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
