This is a 100% remote, full-time role Salary $5.000USD to $7.000 USD
What You Will Do
Develop and Maintain Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime.
Shape System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications.
Write Quality Code: Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices.
Support Production Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior engineers.
Focus on Security and Compliance: Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.
What You Will Need
Strong Technical Expertise:
Solid foundation in design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code.
Proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs).
Strong understanding of MSSQL database design and optimization.
Familiarity with asynchronous microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with modern front-end and server-side technologies such as Node.Js and React.
Commitment to Software Quality:
Hands-on experience with unit testing, mocking, integration testing, and ensuring code coverage.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly in Azure DevOps.
Proficient in version control systems, especially Git.
Experience and Education:
6+ years of back-end software development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Collaboration and Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
