AWS Cloud Engineer

This role presents an excellent opportunity for those looking to work in a dynamic environment and be part of a high-performing international team, offering ample opportunities for growth and development in technical and interpersonal skills. Your Role and Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS utilizing TerraformAutomate deployment processes, infrastructure monitoring, and management;Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using native AWS, Azure DevOps or Github Actions.Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud services;Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle;Monitor and optimize the performance and costs of AWS infrastructure;Manage and resolve production incidents, implementing prevention measures;Prepare and maintain technical documentation of infrastructure and processes;Implement security practices in cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.Essential Qualifications:Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, ECR, etc.);Experience with automation tools and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation);Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably with AWS CodePipeline and Azure DevOpsExperience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes);Familiarity with cloud security practices and DevSecOps;Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills;Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment;Advanced English, both spoken and written.Desirable Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 10 years of equivalent professional experience;AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer);Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);Experience working with international, cross-functional, and remote teams;Excellent written and oral communication skills.Who We Are:DevGrid is a top-tier software consulting company based in the UK, with a development hub in Brazil and operations spanning Europe and the US.
