What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Insurance Practice Area you will work in a growing global team, providing industry/functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.

Our role expectations are:

Getting staffed on cases and working from client-site or BCG office for a duration of couple of months by providing analysis to drive insight into specific client issues
Managing and processing industry focus analysis requests, and assisting consultants with industry specific problems
Interacting with local teams and use an extensive collection of internal and external information resources to gather, filter, synthesize, package and deliver insights to the Insurance Practice Area
Working on content pieces with special focus on Latin American Brazil market specific expertise, including industry trends, local and regional competitive landscape, benchmarks, mapping key industry players, amongst others
Supporting the Insurance PA in Brazil with content development/synthesis for external engagements (Seat at the table events, newspaper articles, etc.)
Gatekeeping all content developed in the Insurance Practice Area in Brazil in an organized way, identifying content to be sanitized and published for the wider BCG ecosystem
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in the Insurance sector, including open Insurance, new regulations, etc-
Communicating with case teams and stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
Navigating complexity and ambiguity

What You'll Bring
2+ years of consulting experience in relevant insurance related work required;
candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
Deep understanding of the insurance sector in Brazil (including open insurance and regulations)
In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required;
4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
Fluency in English and Portuguese
Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
