We're building the future of cross-border payments and digital asset infrastructure. The Role We're seeking a talented mid-level Platform Engineer (DevOps Engineer) to join our infrastructure team. While we prefer candidates who can work from our office for better collaboration and team integration, we also offer remote work flexibility. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and automation systems that power our global payment platform. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support high-volume financial transactions Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software deployments Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent, reproducible environments Deploy, configure, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability Automate operational tasks and improve deployment processes to increase team efficiency Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability Ensure security best practices across all infrastructure components Participate in on-call rotation to maintain 24/7 system availability Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in production environments Requirements3-5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles Strong problem-solving skills and systematic approach to troubleshooting Ability to work independently whether in office or remote settings Passion for automation, reliability, and operational excellence Interest in financial technology and innovation PJ (Pessoa Jurídica) registration or willingness to obtain Required Technical Skills Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) Container Orchestration: Proven expertise with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting) Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform for managing cloud resources CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar) Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages Containerization: Solid understanding of Docker and container best practices Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, DNS, and security groups Monitoring & Observability: Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows Basic English proficiency (required for documentation and team communication) Nice-to-Have Technical Skills Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) Database administration experience (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis) Message queue systems (AWS SNS, SQS, Kafka) Security and compliance tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, security scanning) Experience with financial systems and high-availability requirements Advanced Kubernetes features (operators, custom resources, Helm) GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux) Performance tuning and capacity planning Cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure Intermediate English proficiency Essential Soft Skills Proactive mindset - Identify potential issues before they become problems Self-learner - Stay current with evolving DevOps tools and practices Critical thinking - Analyze complex systems and design elegant solutions Self-management - Prioritize work effectively and manage your time independently Team collaboration - Work effectively with engineering teams across different time zones Commitment - Dedicated to maintaining system reliability and meeting SLAs Versatility - Adapt to new technologies and changing infrastructure needs Communication - Clearly document and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences What We Offer Flexible work arrangement (office preferred, remote possible) Opportunity to work on cutting-edge fintech and blockchain infrastructure Build and maintain systems that process billions in transaction volume Collaborative, innovative team environment with strong engineering culture Professional growth opportunities in cloud technologies and DevOps practices Exposure to both traditional finance and cryptocurrency ecosystems Impact the reliability and scalability of global payment infrastructure Work with modern tools and technologies in a forward-thinking organization Ready to build world-class infrastructure?
