Purchasing Officer

Responsibilities:Assist in purchasing, supplies, and services related to Janeiro Offshore.Support the monitoring of import and export operations in collaboration with freight forwarders.Address internal demands and requirements of Janeiro Offshore's customers.Manage and prepare reports for the Purchasing and Supply Department.Coordinate with Petrobras logistics and provide necessary follow-up.Ensure adherence to Janeiro Offshore’s policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.Perform additional tasks as directed by the Purchasing and Supply Manager.Daily Routine:Update the current demands from the department.Raise purchase orders for service requisitions.Support follow-up on import and export shipments with freight forwarders.Check and verify invoices of services to assist in sending for payment.Support raising materials RFQ.Assist in logistics with Petrobras to escalate the level when necessary.Control and report on the Purchasing and Supply Department.Minimum Requirements:Knowledge and understanding of marine/technical equipment and related logistics management gained within the international Oil & Gas service industry.Knowledge and use of Petrobras logistics system.Knowledge and use of computerized Purchasing system, preferably ABS NSE.At least 3 years of experience in purchasing.Education and Key Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or related area, or recognition of sound experience in place of formal qualifications is acceptable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
