See how at: www.cognizant.com.Senior Software Engineer – iOSWhat you'll doAs a Senior Software Engineer – iOS you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experience. This role requires a deep understanding of iOS native app development and a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality iOS applications that meet user needs and business requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current and competitive.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop and implement unit and UI tests to ensure the robustness of the application.Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.Ensure the application complies with security and data protection guidelines.Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing new processes and technologies.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeLanguage Level: Advanced EnglishKnowledge in iOS development with a strong understanding of iOS frameworks.Deep understanding of Objective-C and Swift programming languages.Strong background in iOS native app development and deployment.Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.Proficient in using Xcode and other iOS development tools.Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.Solid understanding of design principles and interface guidelines.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge in version control systems like Git.Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.Please upload your resume in English.Why Cognizant?A career in one of the largest and fastest growing IT services providers worldwide.Ongoing support and funding with training and development plans.A highly competitive benefits and salary package.Opportunity to work for leading global companies.Cognizant values diversity in our talent pool, so we encourage professionals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, people in refugee situations, women, racial groups, and professionals 50+ to apply for all of our advertised openings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
