Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in areas such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Intermediate Spanish proficiency

Required Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, analysis, and model development.
  • Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze data and draw insights.
  • Expertise in building and deploying predictive models, including regression, classification, clustering, time series, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Desirable Knowledge:

  • Generative AI: Large Language Models (LLM), Fine Tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agents.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and practices.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation systems, including SCADA, IoT, and PLC systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts is a plus.

Main Activities:

  • Structure, clean, and analyze data, providing insights into business problems.
  • Develop and validate predictive and prescriptive machine learning models.
  • Build web applications and APIs to integrate machine learning algorithms into operational systems.
  • Manage project lifecycle stages, applying AGILE and CRISP-DM methodologies.
  • Promote data-driven culture in the organization through events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Replicate and industrialize previous projects for application in similar plants or areas, tailoring solutions as needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to learn new tools and technologies that can solve business challenges.
