Talend Developer

This is a fully remote position, CLT model and salary range is 16k-23k BRL/mo.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer
• Strong hands-on experience with Talend (preferably Talend 8) for data ingestion, transformation, and business logic implementation
• Experience with Talend components, mapping tools, filtering tools, and custom Java hooks
• Proficiency in Java 8 for writing routines, API logic, and custom logging
• Experience with Oracle DB and PL/SQL, including complex SQL joins
• Familiarity with GitHub/Jenkins for deployment in Unix/Linux environments (development in Windows)

Plusses:

• Experience with Snowflake and data warehouse migration projects (Oracle to Snowflake)
• Background in data modeling and data warehouse architecture

Day-to-Day:

You'll be supporting and enhancing a legacy data warehouse system while contributing to a broader Oracle-to-Snowflake migration initiative. Your work will involve maintaining and developing Talend-based pipelines, implementing business logic in Java, and collaborating with a cross-functional team. Expect to work in a Windows development environment with deployments to Unix/Linux via AWS. You'll participate in regular sprint ceremonies and may be pulled into new migration work as needed.
