The Position - PHP Developer

We're looking for a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design, and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases.


Responsibilities

  • Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required
  • Document features, technical specifications & infrastructure
  • Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications
  • Develop, debug, and maintain website applications using our in-house methodologies and process flows.
  • Solve complex, as well as basic, technology issues as they arise.
  • Timely communication of issues and status information to Team Leads concerning system development activities.
  • Provide architectural input for modifications to existing systems and create new systems from the ground up.
  • Work closely with the project manager and senior staff to meet stated business objectives.
  • Participate in daily scrum ceremonies, Bi-Weekly User Story Grooming sessions, and Sprint Planning meetings with the Scrum Master, Product Owners, Business, and Agile Team members.
  • Use Atlassian products like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
  • Use Git for source code control.


Requirements

  • Frontend development using PHP7, Angular JS, HTML, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, and AJAX.
  • Development of RESTful web services
  • Knowledge of deployment and troubleshooting on Linux environment
  • Knowledge of writing joins and nested queries - SQL/Postgres/Oracle
