Join our development team as aSenior Backend Engineering Analyst You will be a key player in developing modern web applications and creating surprising new products for our clients. Our team focuses on building global-scale products and managing numerous direct integrations, including Meta (Facebook) for messaging. We also integrate with various platforms using APIs, queuing, and streaming technologies.Activities While responsibilities vary, in a general context, here's what we expect from you daily: Deliver technology projects/products aligned with the company'sstrategic objectives (OKRs) , collaborating with the product team to suggest and develop new functionalities. Architect and develop APIsfor incredible conversational experiences and integrations using modern development technologies. Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for arobust, global messaging platform(e.g., WhatsApp and SMS channels). Collaboratively develop and enhancedistributed backend servicesthat meet our customers' needs. Actively participate in discussions about product features and technical solutions to solve customer problems and scale our solution. Master integrations and communications usingREST APIs . Practicecode versioning (Git) , with experience in Pull Requests and Code Review. Work effectively in a teamenvironment-we don't build software aloneRequirements Solid experience in a functional language, preferably Elixir. Experience developingRESTful and gRPC APIs . Strong knowledge ofdistributed system architecture, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns . Practical knowledge ofAgile development methodologies . Solid understanding ofrelational databases . Experience withUnit Testing and Integration Testing . English is a must.You will communicate with teams around the world daily.
