Informatica PowerCenter Engineer

Job Description We’re looking for aSenior Informatica PowerCenter Engineerto join our team on a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL development, data modeling, and integration using Informatica PowerCenter, along with solid SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and analysis. This role involves working with large-scale data sets, building and maintaining efficient data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and quality. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows usingInformatica PowerCenter . Work withdata models , data access patterns, andstar schemasin data warehouses. Write and optimizeadvanced SQL queriesfor data transformation and reporting. UsePython scriptingto analyze and manipulate large data sets. SupportManaged File Transfer (MFT)integrations and automation. Collaborate on API integrations andAWS S3data handling. Participate inunit testing, software change management , andrelease processes . Identify and resolve data quality or performance issues. (Optional) Create and maintain dashboards or visualizations usingTableau . Qualifications 6+ yearsof hands-on experience withInformatica PowerCenter . Strong understanding ofdata modeling , ETL design, anddata warehousing concepts . Advanced proficiency inSQLandPython . Experience withMFTtools and file-based integrations. Working knowledge ofAPIsandAWS S3 . Familiarity withTableauor other BI tools is a plus. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
