The Role
This isn’t a typical architecture role — you’ll be part of a small, close-knit founding team where every contribution matters.
As an Architect at Innova, you will:
Create and refine construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
Develop residential building designs that balance function, aesthetics, and compliance
Work directly with clients and builders feedback to bring projects from concept to reality
Interpret and apply Canadian building codes, local zoning, and design requirements (Canada-specific training will be provided)
Collaborate with the team to solve design challenges creatively and efficiently
Contribute to a supportive environment where leadership opportunities are available as we scale

✨ Who You Are
Experience in architecture, planning, or technical design (specifically in Apartment Buildings)
Skilled in producing technical documents and construction plans
Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices (does not need to be Canada-specific, building code knowledge and understanding needed)
Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and solutions
Proven closer who works with urgency and precision
Someone who can communicate in English

What Success Looks Like
Within 3 months:
Ramp up on local codes and standards (with training support)
Deliver high-quality plans and drawings with team guidance
Within 6 months:
Independently lead parts of design projects
Confidently produce client-ready documents and presentations
Within 12 months:
Own a portfolio of completed projects
Take leadership on new design initiatives as part of the founding team
