This role is ideal for ahands-on, experienced engineerwho can immediately contribute to solving complex challenges, driving technical excellence, and enhancing our DevOps and backend infrastructure. You’ll join acollaborative, empowered, and agile teamresponsible for enterprise data distribution applications and backend APIs that serve external customers worldwide, including international markets such asCanada and Japan . This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical DevOps operations, design scalable solutions, and continuously evolve our platform’s reliability, performance, and security.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintainhighly available and scalable backend systemsand APIs. Lead and ownDevOps initiatives , including CI/CD pipeline management, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code usingTerraform , ensuring secure, reproducible, and automated deployments. Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams todeliver new features and improve existing systems . Ensuredisaster recovery readinessand compliance withsecurity best practices . Manage and optimizeAWS services(S3, RDS, EventBridge, SQS, IAM, VPC, ECR, etc.). Deploy and manageKubernetes (EKS)clusters andDockerimages in production environments. Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and drive root cause analysis. Maintain high standards ofcode quality, testing, and documentation . Collaborate across engineering teams (Platform, Security, UX) to ensure seamless integration and delivery.Required Qualifications8+ yearsof professional experience infunctional programming , withNode.js / JavaScript(not TypeScript). Proven experience withDevOpspractices andcloud-native environments . Deep hands-on experience withKubernetes (EKS)andDocker . Expertise withAWS(S3, RDS, EventBridge, SQS, DMS, Security Groups, IAM, VPCs, ECR). Strong proficiency inSQLand experience withrelational databases(MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS). Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand automated deployment workflows. Familiarity withTerraform(infrastructure as code). Solid understanding ofapplication securityand use of security tools (e.g.,Wiz, Snyk ). Strong debugging, issue resolution, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work bothindependently and collaborativelyin an agile environment. Pragmatic mindset with a strong sense ofownership and craftsmanship .Nice to Have SkillsExperience withautomated database migrationsand versioning. Background inAPI integration and distribution systems . Familiarity withmonitoring and observability tools(e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Exposure tomulti-region cloud deployments . Previous experience supportingregulated industriesor compliance-driven environments.
