The Opportunity

The Inside Sales & Pricing Coordinator supports the Marketing and Inside sales department by prospecting, engaging with existing and prospective clients to understand their shipping requirements and provide accurate, timely quotations for the most cost-effective routes. This role manages inbound sales inquiries, research transportation options, negotiates rates with carriers and agents, and prepares competitive proposals in alignment with customer needs and company standards. The position requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the coordinator ensures exceptional customer service, fosters long-term client relationships, and upholds the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and operational compliance.


Scope of Services

  • Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, handles inbound calls and emails providing service and price information, prepares shipment quotations, clarifies questions, and follows up to close deals.
  • Understands customer needs and requirements to ensure a high level of satisfaction and effective communication.
  • Researches route options, vendors, freight requirements, and other relevant information to identify the most cost-efficient solutions for customers and prospects.
  • Negotiates freight costs with carriers and agents, works on special project quotes, and maintains close relationships with vendors to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Organizes quote requests and internal orders, prioritizes and executes them within required turnaround times. Follows detailed instructions from SOP diligently.
  • Gains and retains extensive knowledge in the freight forwarding industry, as well as a detailed understanding of customer requirements.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing major contracts to support business growth.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the team leader or management.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent, plus two to four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
