Android Developer

We're looking for an Android developer who is passionate about building and delivering high quality, highly polished mobile applications. The ideal candidate will build cutting edge consumer facing, data-driven applications, building applications for Android devices.Must HavesStrong understanding of the entire Android development cycleExperience with Object Oriented (OO) software designProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT3+ years of in-depth mobile development - Kotlin, Java, Android SDK/Frameworks, REST APIs, JSONExperience with any/all of the following is a large plus: Android Clean Architecture, multi-module, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, databinding, Dagger 2, RxJava (nice-to-have), JUnit, Mockito MockKOversee the entire feature delivery process, from requirement gathering to development and functional testing, which includes writing Jira stories, writing clean code, writing unit tests, integration tests, acceptance tests, and contract testsExperience working on enterprise or consumer-grade apps, building SDKs and/or payment processing, encryption, etc.Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities and limitations of mobile platform(s)Experience sizing and estimating projects based on technical documents and Jira stories.PlussesRetail and ecommerce experienceExperience working with Agile methodologiesPersonal software projects or open-source contributions aExperience with CI integrationsExperience with performance tuning tools
