High School Principal

Position: High School Principal Application Deadline: October 20th, 2025
Start Date: July, 2026

Main responsibilities: Lead the daily operations of the High School, ensuring efficient, safe, and student-centered management. Build and mentor teacher leaders through regular feedback, coaching, and professional development. Collaborate with academic leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across Grades 9–12, aligned with IB and national requirements. Oversee academic, co-curricular, and student support programs that respond to student needs and promote holistic growth. Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive school culture that upholds ethical and academic excellence.
Partner with the IB Diploma Coordinator to ensure the effective implementation and integrity of the IB Diploma Programme. Work with the College Counselor to support students in their preparation for university admissions, both local and international.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of leadership experience in a High School setting preferred.
Demonstrated experience with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). Principal certification, licensure, or equivalent administrative credential (or eligibility to obtain). Excellent communication skills in English, suited to an international bilingual community. Strong record of instructional leadership, teacher development, and data-informed decision-making. Cross-cultural sensitivity and experience working in international or IB-authorized schools. Familiarity with the Brazilian educational context and proficiency in Portuguese are preferred.
