We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated candidates to join our ZIM family in a role of ZIM Logistics General Manager Brazil. ResponsibilitiesEstablish and lead a high-performing country organization with strong operational foundations.Drive commercial growth by expanding the customer base, increasing market share, and achieving sales and budget targets.Lead business development initiatives, including introducing innovative freight forwarding products and value-added services across air, ocean, rail, trucking, warehousing, and customs brokerage, in line with ZIM Logistics’ global strategy.Grow existing business by increasing customer acquisition and share of wallet.Oversee freight forwarding operations, ensuring seamless integration with regional and global networks.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key suppliers, including carriers, trucking providers, and warehouse operators.Ensure full compliance with local regulations, including customs clearance requirements (Siscarga and Mercante).Unlock synergies with other ZIM entities locally and globally to maximize commercial and operational value.Continuously improve sales, customer service, and cross-functional processes to drive efficiency, profitability, and service excellence.Qualifications10+ years’ experience in freight forwarding & supply chain at management level with full P&L responsibility, preferably in a medium or large forwarder in Country, ideally leading a geography within a country or managing a product or sales team.Extensive, in-depth knowledge and experience of the global freight forwarding/logistics industry, with a strong commercial focus in large global scales. Ecommerce knowledge is a plus.P&L ownership experience.Expertise in promoting and developing new business and freight forwarding products.Proven success in working in a global, high paced environment.Entrepreneurship mindset, ability to establish and grow a business from the very beginning.
