Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager on the Microsoft Security Customer Experience Engineering (CXE) team, you will be responsible for:

1. Understanding SOC functions and workflows, such as incident triage and investigation, and translating those insights into successful customer experiences with Microsoft's Security AI product.
2. Supporting customers, partners, and engagement teams as the Security AI product evolves.
3. Serving as a point of contact in Microsoft Security Engineering for assigned customers and partners.
4. Hosting recurring meetings with design partners to gather feedback and introduce Microsoft Security SMEs (subject matter experts).
5. Working towards becoming a subject matter expert on the Microsoft Security AI strategy and supporting product technologies (Microsoft 365 Defender, Sentinel, and Intune) to effectively guide customers and partners.
6. Acting as the advocate and interface between customers, partners, and the Microsoft Security product and engineering teams for Microsoft's Security AI product and the Microsoft 365 Defender product suite, Sentinel, and Intune to ensure customer and partner issues are properly addressed, drive critical feedback and insights, and gather customer requirements to improve the product, value to customers, and product adoption.
7. Working directly with customers at all levels of their security organization from analyst to CISO to support investigation and response.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• Advanced knowledge of operating system internals and security mechanisms.
• Experience analyzing attacker techniques.
• Skilled working with extremely large data sets, using tools and scripting languages such as: Excel, KQL, Python, Splunk, and PowerBI.
• Knowledge of kill-chain model, ATT&CK framework, and modern penetration testing techniques.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Defender suite of products, Sentinel, and Intune.
• Ability to go deep in technical/solution areas with drive and a growth mindset.
• Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of operating system internals, OS security mitigations & understanding of Security challenges in Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Excellent cross-group and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate business needs for detection improvements.
• Knowledge of major cloud and productivity platforms as well as identity systems and related security concerns.
• Experience with curation of Threat Intelligence.
• Experience with direct customer communication in a service delivery role.
• Experience with reverse engineering, digital forensics (DFIR) or incident response, or machine learning models.
• Experience with system administration in a large enterprise environment including Windows and Linux servers and workstations, network administration, cloud administration.
• Experience with offensive security including tools such as Metasploit, exploit development, OSINT, and designing ways to breach enterprise networks.
• Additional advanced technical degrees or cyber security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or GIAC certifications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with reporting, analytical, and dashboarding capabilities including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders leading highly visible initiatives/products/projects at scale.
• A strategic mindset and vision to anticipate future demands and competitive needs.
• The ability to partner closely with both internal and external customers and partners.
• Positive and collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to work on cross-team projects.
• Effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and spoken communication for both internal and external audiences, and the ability to adapt to your audience (including senior executives).
• Fluency in Spanish.
