This professional will be responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QHSE systems and practices, with a strong emphasis on environmental compliance and performance. The role plays a key part in promoting a sustainability-driven culture, ensuring alignment with environmental legislation, corporate goals, and best practices.ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental ManagementPlan, implement, and monitor sustainability and environmental management programs.Track and analyze environmental KPIs (emissions, effluents, waste, energy, and water consumption).Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and licenses.Conduct and manage internal and external audits.Lead environmental impact mitigation and carbon neutrality projects.Develop environmental awareness and engagement campaigns.Oversee supplier and partner compliance with environmental requirements.Lead strategic environmental initiatives (e.g., zero landfill, waste segregation).Support occupational health and safety programs and accident prevention initiatives.Monitor HSE indicators and propose corrective/preventive actions.Maintain and enhance the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).Coordinate QHSE training and awareness activities.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and zero accidents.QualificationsEducation:Degree in Environmental Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields.Postgraduate degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, or related areas (preferred).Fluent English (mandatory).Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in QHSE, with proven focus on environmental management.Experience in multinational organizations, interacting with corporate and external stakeholders.Proven track record of leading environmental projects.Technical Knowledge:Brazilian environmental legislation.Waste, effluent, and emission management.Continuous improvement and risk analysis tools.Environmental and sustainability performance indicators (ESG).Understanding of GHG Scopes 1, 2, and 3.Our OfferWe offer an attractive compensation and benefits package, including:Medical and Dental AssistancePharmacy and Gym PartnershipsMeal Voucher and On-site RestaurantPrivate Pension PlanLife Insurance and Funeral AssistanceChildcare Assistance, Special Needs Child Support, and School Supply KitChristmas Gift Basket and Children’s GiftsProfit Sharing Program (PPR) and Additional Fixed BonusTransportation Voucher, Company Shuttle, and On-site ParkingSupport for Language Courses, Undergraduate and Postgraduate StudiesDiversity & InclusionMunksjö is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
