Context:


To continue IKOS’s growth in America, we are recruiting Data Analyst & Operation Monitoring with relevant experience in railway and transportation industry. This person will integrate our team in Sao Paulo and participate in the coordination of major projects.


Responsibilities:



  • Proficient in using SQL for querying databases and manipulating large datasets.Expertise in data analysis and manipulation using tools like Python (with libraries such as pandas, NumPy) or R.
  • Skilled in creating insightful and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or visualization libraries in Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).Ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling visual representations.
  • Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into data analysis projects, providing actionable insights that drive decision-making.
  • Proficient in using monitoring tools (such as Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog, or Splunk) to oversee system performance, network activity, and application status.
  • Ability to quickly identify, diagnose, and escalate issues or anomalies in real-time to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Skilled in following incident response protocols, documenting incidents, and coordinating with relevant teams to resolve operational disruptions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and mitigate system and operational issues efficiently.
  • Competent in analyzing operational data and generating reports to provide insights into system performance, uptime, and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to use tools like Excel, SQL, or other analytics software to track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information between different teams, including IT, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate maintenance schedules, updates, and other operational activities without disrupting business processes.

  • You have at least 2+ years of previous experience in the industry, (energy or transportation sectors are an asset).
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate maintenance schedules, updates, and other operational activities without disrupting business processes.
  • You are a team player and ready to learn
  • You are fluent in English (Professional Level required)
