Job Overview \We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead quality assurance, compliance, and inspection efforts for civil infrastructure projects. This hands-on role focuses on geotechnical engineering practices ensuring strict adherence to international standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or a related technical discipline, with a proven track record of success in geotechnical engineering practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and contributing to the growth and success of our organization. \Key Responsibilities \Develop and implement Project-Specific Quality Control Plans in compliance with contract specifications and applicable international standards. Review design documents, technical specifications, and project plans to identify quality requirements using computer-aided design software and engineering principles. Perform daily inspections and surveillance of construction activities including geotechnical assessments for earthwork, excavation, pavement construction, utility installation, concrete/steel testing, and site stability evaluations. Lead and Support the Three-Phase Control Process and document all phases of work with an emphasis on geotechnical risks, mitigations, and responsible charge oversight. Manage Non-Conformance Reports, implement corrective/preventive actions, and track resolution for issues related to geotechnical engineering. Coordinate and supervise third-party testing laboratories, ensuring timely submittal and approval of test results for geotechnical materials to international standards. Oversight quality aspects of the construction, maintenance, and repair of civil infrastructure projects with responsible charge for geotechnical components. Train and guide site personnel on quality standards, inspection protocols, documentation requirements, and geotechnical best practices. Maintain detailed QC documentation including daily reports, inspection checklists, material submittals, test records, and CAD-generated plans. Interface with clients, project management, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, engineers, architects, and contractors on quality and geotechnical issues. Monitor the effectiveness of the quality system, recommend process improvements, and conduct/participate in internal audits. \Qualifications and Requirements \Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related technical discipline. Licensed and registered as a Civil Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer in the United States of America. At least 5 years of licensed experience, of which at least 3 years must be in responsible charge in geotechnical engineering practice. QC certification for relevant industries. Significant material testing expertise to international standards. Knowledge of US construction standards and codes. Experience with government contracting, security, and safety procedures. Hands-on experience in External & Internal Quality Audit Programmes, ISO Quality Management System, and quality tools/methodologies. \We want to create an inclusive workplace where we value diversity and encourage applications from individuals with different backgrounds.
