Financial Operations Specialist The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate our company's financial activities to ensure efficient use of resources, compliance with accounting, tax, and legal obligations, and generation of reliable information for decision-making. The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for guaranteeing financial stability, operational efficiency, and adequate support for other areas of the organization. This involves managing cash balances, preparing bank reconciliations, processing invoice payments, and reviewing customer orders in accordance with commercial risk policies. The successful candidate will also be required to manage third-party relationships, including customers and suppliers. They will need to keep master data up to date, request assessments through the Compliance platform, and monitor credit lines. In addition, the Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for inventory management, performing monthly closing of the inventory module, participating in physical inventory control committees, and recording adjustments resulting from physical inventory counts. The role also involves managing fixed assets and leases, controlling recorded fixed assets, managing lease agreements according to IFRS 16, and reviewing monthly depreciation of fixed assets and leases. The Financial Operations Specialist will work closely with the payroll team to calculate sales commissions payable to the sales department, review payroll processed by the accounting outsourcing company, and review monthly balances related to health, parafiscal contributions, and social benefits. They will also provide support for proper recording of accounting transactions, validate exchange rate controls quarterly, coordinate closing and opening of accounting periods, and manage accounting structures and taxes. Key Responsibilities: Manage cash balances and prepare bank reconciliations. Process invoice payments and monitor credit lines. Review customer orders and manage third-party relationships. Perform inventory management tasks. Manage fixed assets and leases. Work with the payroll team to review payroll and balances. Provide support for accounting transactions and exchange rate controls. This is a critical role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in medium or large companies.
