About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Travel Designer to deliver comprehensive travel planning services to our members. As a Travel Designer, you will engage extensively with members to curate itineraries tailored precisely to their preferences, granting access to exclusive accommodations, bespoke experiences, fine dining, events, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Craft personalized, unique itineraries that precisely meet member needs with meticulous attention to detail during final itinerary checks
- Collaborate effectively with Destinations and Membership teams to accurately understand and communicate member preferences
- Coordinate and manage travel planning requests and itinerary bookings with team
- Maintain consistent communication with members via phone, video calls, and email throughout each trip planning stage
- Work in conjunction with Member Experience Managers to plan trips for assigned members within MEM’s portfolio, focusing on their preferences
- Act as a liaison between the Destinations, Travel Team and Reservations Desk, ensuring seamless communication and execution
- Utilize tech tools to craft ideal itineraries based on gathered member information, aligning all travel arrangements with their expectations
- Liaise with teams to understand member preferences and maintain prompt communication for a seamless travel experience
- Engage in new trainings and stay updated on tech integrations to enhance travel planning efficiency
- Offer on-the-ground assistance if needed during members' trips, ensuring finalized trips are effectively handed over for support by the TST team
- Manage post-trip aspects by following up on feedback, concerns, and learning about preferences for enhanced future trip delivery
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proficient in professional Portuguese, Spanish, and English
- Customer service or sales experience is essential
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Solution-oriented mindset, team player attitude
- Adaptable to a dynamic work environment
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong understanding of luxury and brand essence
Experience within the travel or hospitality industry is a bonus
