Overview of the role:


The Senior Elixir Developer position focuses on crafting elegant solutions and guiding teams toward excellence in functional programming. This role involves designing sophisticated Elixir applications, leading architectural decisions, and mentoring development teams while establishing best practices and driving innovation within the technical landscape.


Key responsibilities:


- Designing and developing sophisticated Elixir applications with focus on scalability and performance.

- Leading architectural decisions and technical planning for complex software projects.

- Guiding and mentoring junior developers while ensuring high code quality standards.

- Establishing and maintaining development best practices and coding standards.

- Enhancing application efficiency through performance optimization and system improvements.

- Championing new development approaches and innovative technical solutions.


Requirements:


- Elixir Development: 4+ years of comprehensive Elixir development experience with proven mastery of functional programming concepts.

- Code Quality: Deep understanding of clean code principles, SOLID practices, and scalable software architecture design.

- Testing Expertise: Advanced experience with automated testing frameworks, unit testing, and maintaining high code coverage.

- CI/CD Proficiency: Hands-on experience implementing and managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

- Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to make informed technical decisions and lead development teams effectively.

- Infrastructure Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, infrastructure architecture, and deployment environments.

- Language Proficiency: Advanced English for effective technical communication and collaboration.
