About Leaders League Brasil : Leaders League Brasil was established in 2015 and today covers the country’s legal and financial markets via more than 100 rankings and daily news stories. We enjoy a fully international working environment and use English on a daily basis to communicate with colleagues and partners outside of Brazil. Currently, the Brazil team consists of three major divisions: Research & Editorial, Commercial and Events . We are based in Pinheiros, enjoy a great working environment and frequently organize social outings together. Research & Editorial - Vacancies : Leaders League Brasil is currently seeking a Writer & Researcher to work from our São Paulo office. The vacancy on offer is part of the Research & Editorial division. Being a part of our Research & Editorial team provides professionals with the opportunity to (i) publish digital and print news articles on Brazil’s legal and financial markets; (ii) attend high-profile industry events; (iii) and interview senior legal and financial professionals. Recent interviewees Katia Vaskys (General Manager - IBM Brasil), Ana Pellegrini (General Counsel - QuintoAndar) and Patricia Vanzolini (President - OAB-SP) About the Role : 1. Research : You will frequently interview senior players within Brazil’s legal and financial markets, evaluate research documents containing highly confidential information and summarize your findings in concise but informative decisions. We often work with tight deadlines, as such, organization and a hard-working attitude are essential. 2. Writing : On a weekly basis, you will draft short articles, in English and Portuguese, about the latest legal and financial news taking place in Brazil. Additionally, you will author longer news articles and have the opportunity to interview high-profile Brazilian figures in the legal and financial spheres. 3. Publishing : Members of the Research & Editorial team are heavily involved in all aspects of publishing our work. This includes tasks such as writing, editing, proofreading, proactively double-checking information, uploading content to our website and more. A strong attention to detail is paramount to this role. 4. Travel : The opportunity to travel nationally and internationally and to progress swiftly within the company exists for the right candidate. Recent events have taken our senior team members to South Korea, United States, France, Mexico, Colombia as well as to Brazilian cities such as São Paulo, Brasília and Rio de Janeiro. Key Requirements : - A bachelor’s degree in law or finance - A high standard of written and spoken English and Portuguese are essential - Excellent writing and interpersonal skills - Outstanding attention to detail and a hard-working attitude - Keen interest in law, finance and business - Fluency in French is a bonus Writer & Researcher (Full-Time) : Salary : Competitive.
