SAP OTC Functional Consultant (Brazil – SD OTC Invoicing)

Duration: 12 months plus extension

Focus Area: SD OTC Invoicing, Tax Rate Simplification, and Invoice Validation

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP OTC (Order-to-Cash) Functional Consultant with a strong background in SD OTC invoicing to support a large-scale transformation initiative in Brazil. This role is pivotal in preparing systems and processes for the 2026 tax landscape simplification, which will require configuring, testing, and validating new tax rate structures while ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax regulations.

The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external service providers (e.g., Waters outsourcing) to validate invoices and implement robust processes for handling test rates, transitional configurations, and future-ready "pipework" for new tax rates.

Key Responsibilities

· OTC Invoicing (SD Focus):

Configure, test, and support SAP SD OTC invoicing processes with a focus on Brazilian tax compliance.

Ensure accurate integration of tax rules into billing documents and invoices.

· Tax Simplification Readiness (2026 Brazil Project):

Implement and validate "test tax rates" to prepare for regulatory changes.

Build configuration and process "pipework" to seamlessly adopt new tax rates once finalized.

Partner with tax and compliance teams to ensure all requirements are aligned.

· Invoice Outsourcing & Validation:

Collaborate with Waters outsourcing teams to validate outsourced invoices.

Ensure invoice accuracy against SAP-generated billing and Brazilian legal/tax standards.

Define exception-handling processes and escalation paths.

· Stakeholder & Business Support:

Work closely with Finance, Tax, and Compliance teams in Brazil.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and SAP technical teams.

Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and training as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

· SAP SD / OTC Functional Expertise: 7+ years' experience in SAP OTC with emphasis on invoicing, billing, and taxation.

· Brazilian Tax Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations, nota fiscal, and electronic invoicing processes.

· Project Experience: Demonstrated success in large-scale SAP transformation or tax compliance projects in Brazil.

· Technical Acumen: Familiarity with configuring pricing procedures, tax codes, and billing document flows in SAP SD.

· Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, tax, compliance, outsourcing partners).

· Languages: English proficiency required.
